Whether you would like a beautiful carved mantel, elegant door or a clever hand-carved toilet seat, the first step to placing your order is to contact Ron Perusi to discuss the details of your project.

At this time Ron can discuss your design interests - you can provide a finished design or furnish your ideas and have Ron develop the finished design.  You will also discuss the dimensions and wood species.  Once the scope and details of the project are established, Ron will provide you with a quote and a time line for delivery.

In addition to hand-carved mantels, Ron also creates assorted slate and stone mantels.

A Few Special Details About Mantels

Mantels can be custom carved or chosen from designs we have already created.  We can work with your drawings or ours (create a custom design for you based on your wishes).

Most mantels are carved from white pine.  Other woods are also available, including oak, cherry, basswood and buckeye. 

Mantels are prices by size and amount of carving and whether or not they are stained and/or painted.

A deposit of 50% is required before carving begins.  Mantels take from 4 – 6 weeks to complete.

Shipping costs will be based on size, weight, and location where the item would be shipped.  (The shipping destination).  Local delivery can be arranged.

I really need something now, do you have any mantels already carved that I can just purchase?

Ron draws inspiration from the beautiful places and people around him here in the beautiful Smoky Mountains and occasionally offers a finished piece for purchase.
